Shangyan Power Technology Jiangsu Co., Ltd

Shangyan Power, which includes Shanghai Dongfeng Diesel Engine Research Institute and Shanghai Stanford Power Equipment Co., Ltd, was founded in 1993 as a professional Chinese name dedicated to the design and production of a variety of diesel engine types. These engines include non-road diesel engines, marine diesel engines, alternators and generator sets, which, as part of the main generator or standby power supply, are often used in communication, railway, oil, airports, hospitals, field exploration and other applications.

Our Strength

With two large production workshops (covering an area of 13,000 square meters), an annual output of 17,000 sets of diesel engines and alternators, and an annual total revenue of more than 500 million yuan over the last ten years, customers come to us with the knowledge that our diesel engines (available in a wide array of models and types, ranging from 25 to 2500kW) will meet any application need they may have, and do so in a way that is both efficient and reliable.

Our Style

As recently as June of 2017, Shangyan Power has sold 340,000 diesel engines, and as we are experts in the production and assembly process for diesel engines, we can offer our customers professional guidance and services. Cumulative sales of motors that use our equipment reaches upwards of 60,000 sets, and our equipment has been used in numerous internationally known engine names, including Cummins, MTU, MAN, DEUTZ, Volvo, SDEC, Yuchai, Weichai, and Dongfeng.

Company History

2017

The institute has purchased around 40.000 square meters of land in the Nantong Development Zone to built a new plant. The plant is expected to have an area of nearly 20,000 square meters and be completed and put into production at the end of 2018.

2015

The Vietnam Marine Diesel Engine Agent was established.

2015

Shangyan marine diesel engines fully entered the marine fishery industry and obtained the Certificate of Type Approval for Marine Product of Register of Fishing Vessel of the People's Republic of China.

Dongfeng Diesel Engine Institute-Our Predecessor

Shanghai Dongfeng Diesel Engine Institute (referred to as Shyansuo) as the predecessor of Shangyan Power was founded in 1993 which is a well-known institution engaged in developing, designing and producing diesel engines, gas engines, hybrid systems and complete sets of products.
